Role Overview
The Marketing & Growth Intern will be responsible for building Siya’s early teacher community and school network from the ground up. The role focuses on driving organic growth, school outreach, and storytelling to establish Siya as a trusted EdTech platform for teachers and schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow teacher communities via WhatsApp, LinkedIn, educator forums, and word-of-mouth channels
- Conduct school outreach by identifying 100 target schools and initiating first-touch communication with decision-makers
- Collaborate on storytelling using pilot data, teacher feedback, and school outcomes for marketing content
- Run growth experiments such as A/B testing messaging and tracking conversion performance
- Manage a content calendar for teachers, principals, and parents
- Track growth metrics including CAC, community size, engagement rates, and school pipeline
- Represent Siya at educator events, hackathons, and college communities
Success Metrics
- Build a pipeline of 1M+ teachers
- Engage 100+ schools with active visibility or ongoing conversations
Requirements / Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English and Hindi)
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
- Ability to build and track basic growth metrics and funnels
- Experience in community building, content, sales, or growth (formal or informal)
- Proactive and self-driven approach
- Comfortable working with feedback and iteration
- Interest in education and school systems preferred
- Currently studying in or recently graduated from Tier-1 institutions (preferred)
