This is a full-time, on-site HR Recruiter role based in Chennai. The HR Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection processes. The role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, aligning recruitment with organizational goals, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The HR Recruiter will maintain and update applicant databases, support onboarding activities, and help strengthen employer branding to attract mission-aligned talent. The position also includes generating recruitment reports, adhering to organizational policies, and supporting other HR activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing, with experience managing end-to-end recruitment cycles.
- Ability to draft clear job descriptions, manage job postings, and coordinate with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, job portals, and professional networking platforms for recruitment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams.
- Sound organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple openings.
- Understanding of basic HR practices, onboarding processes, and relevant employment guidelines and policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field; HR certifications are an added advantage.
- Prior recruitment or HR experience in the nonprofit or social development sector is highly desirable, along with a strong commitment to Sevalaya’s values and mission.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
