JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY INSPECTOR
Position: Quality Inspector
Department: Quality
Qualification: Diploma / BE – Mechanical & Electrical
Experience: 0–2 Years / Freshers can apply
Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Location: Malumichampatti, Coimbatore
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products as per quality standards and specifications.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of sheet metal components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective action with the concerned department.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Monitor product quality at different stages of production.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and NPD teams to resolve quality issues.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring instruments.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
Preference: Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
