Qualifications Be based and eligible to work in the location advertised in the job posting. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
5+ years of progressive experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role. Expert SQL & Python:
High-level proficiency in writing highly optimized, scalable transformations, custom connectors, and object-oriented automation scripts.
The Stack:
Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake (including performance tuning/cost optimization), Airflow, and modern ingestion tools (Airbyte/Fivetran).
Data Modeling: Advanced, demonstrated mastery of Kimball methodologies (Star Schemas, Fact/Dimension tables) at an enterprise scale.
Cloud & Infrastructure Understanding: Strong working knowledge of GCP (Compute, Storage, networking concepts) and a solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes . You don//'t need to be a cluster administrator, but you must know how to design data apps that thrive in these environments.
Software Engineering Best Practices: Strong experience building reusable and modular code (internal libraries, dbt macros) and working with version control/CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cube Cloud (or similar semantic layers) and Sigma Computing.
Security Mindset: Familiarity with SOC2 compliance, RBAC, and securely navigating cloud networking constraints.
Experience operating in a multi-cloud environment (e.g., integrating GCP with AWS or Azure). Prior experience in a consulting firm or proven success in high-pressure, client-facing architectural roles.
