Key Responsibilities:

Understand task requirements and source input data for engineering documentation.

Develop accurate and user‑friendly technical documentation, including:

Operating Instructions
-
Maintenance Manuals
-
Workshop / Service Manuals
-
Convert complex mechanical and engineering information into structured technical content.
-
Create, manage, and update documentation using a Content Management System (CMS).
-
Publish and maintain online technical content as per defined standards.
-
Ensure consistency, correctness, and compliance with documentation guidelines.
-
Work closely with engineering, service, and product teams to gather and validate information.
-
Handle document revisions, version control, and lifecycle management.
Skills and Experience Required:

Qualifications: BE / B. Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in core technical writing.

Hands-on knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), Windchill, SAP (PLM).
-
Strong understanding of mechanical and technical documentation standards.
-
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
-
Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines, gensets and its sub-systems.
-
Understanding of engine, genset installation, servicing and maintenance procedures.
-
Prior experience in automotive, engine, or heavy equipment industries will be added advantage.
