About AdLift
AdLift is a performance-driven digital marketing agency with a laser focus on measurable growth. Since our founding, we have partnered with high-growth startups and global enterprises across the US, India, and beyond — helping them convert organic visibility and targeted outreach into real, attributable revenue. Our team thrives at the intersection of data, creativity, and technology.
As we scale our demand-generation capabilities for our US-based clients, we are looking for a seasoned B2B Email Marketing Specialist who has built, optimised, and delivered campaigns that move the needle — not just open rates, but pipeline and revenue.
The Opportunity
This is not a 'set-and-blast' email role. You will own the entire B2B email marketing lifecycle — from strategy and segmentation to copywriting, design, A/B testing, and performance analytics — primarily for our US-market clients. You will collaborate closely with account managers, content strategists, and clients to build outbound and nurture programmes that generate qualified leads and accelerate deal velocity.
If you have driven measurable results in the US market, obsess over subject-line psychology, and can turn raw data into actionable insights, read on.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy & Planning
-
Develop end-to-end B2B email marketing strategies tailored to each client's ICP, business objectives, and funnel stage.
- Build multi-touch drip sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and event-triggered workflows aligned with US buyer behaviour.
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to align email outreach with pipeline goals and revenue targets.
2. Campaign Execution
-
Own the full production cycle: audience build, segmentation, copy, design, QA, scheduling, and deployment.
- Manage campaigns simultaneously across multiple US-market client accounts without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Configure and maintain marketing automation workflows in platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact.
3. Copywriting & Messaging
-
Write sharp, conversion-oriented email copy — subject lines that earn opens, body copy that earns clicks, CTAs that earn actions.
- Adapt tone, voice, and messaging for diverse US verticals including SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, fintech, and professional services.
- Craft sequences that nurture cold leads through the funnel while maintaining brand consistency and compliance.
4. Email Design
-
Work with the Design team to design clean, responsive, on-brand email templates. Collaborate with the creative team to develop modular template libraries for rapid, scalable deployment.
5. List Management & Compliance
-
Build, clean, and segment email lists with rigorous hygiene practices to protect deliverability and sender reputation.
- Ensure strict compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations for all US-facing campaigns.
- Monitor bounce rates, spam complaints, and unsubscribe signals proactively to maintain inbox placement.
6. A/B Testing & Optimisation
-
Design and execute structured A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, preview text, send times, CTAs, layout, and personalisation variables.
- Document hypotheses, results, and learnings to build a reusable optimisation playbook for the agency.
7. Analytics & Reporting
-
Track, analyse, and report on core KPIs: open rate, CTR, CTOR, conversion rate, pipeline influenced, and revenue attributed.
- Provide weekly/monthly performance reports to clients with clear narrative, insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Use data to identify underperforming segments, subject-line fatigue, and deliverability risk — and act before they become problems.
8. Industry Awareness
-
Stay current with US email marketing trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and regulatory developments.
Proactively surface innovative tactics — AI-powered personalisation, interactive email, AMP for email — to clients and internal teams.
-
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
-
3+ years of hands-on B2B email marketing experience, ideally within a digital marketing agency or fast-growth SaaS/tech company.
- Demonstrated, provable results from US-market B2B campaigns — bring your metrics, case studies, or client outcomes to the interview.
- Proficiency with major ESPs/MAPs: HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or equivalent.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills for custom email template development and troubleshooting rendering issues.
- Excellent B2B copywriting ability — you understand that enterprise buyers are humans, not job titles.
- Solid grasp of deliverability best practices: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sender reputation, domain warm-up protocols.
- Analytical rigour: you are comfortable pulling reports, building dashboards, and translating numbers into recommendations.
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance requirements.
Nice-to-Haves
-
Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) email strategies and intent-data platforms (6sense, Bombora, etc.).
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo.io.
- Working knowledge of AI writing assistants and personalisation engines for email at scale.
- Exposure to interactive email formats or AMP for email.
- Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and attribution modelling experience.
