Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and result-oriented Solar Site Engineer to oversee the execution, installation, and commissioning of Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Solar PV Projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects within timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation and execution of Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Solar PV projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor daily site activities and maintain project progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assess project feasibility.
- Supervise civil, structural, electrical, and module installation activities.
- Manage installation of MMS structures, solar modules, inverters, AC/DC cabling, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Ensure quality control during project execution and commissioning.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and synchronization activities.
- Resolve technical issues arising during project implementation.
- Monitor material consumption and coordinate inventory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies at site.
- Prepare site documentation, work completion reports, and handover documents.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Solar PV systems, including Rooftop and Ground-Mounted projects.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and engineering documents.
- Familiarity with solar installation standards and safety practices.
- Strong project execution and site management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and contractors.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Utility-Scale Solar Projects.
- Knowledge of net-metering, commissioning procedures, and DISCOM coordination.
- Experience in handling projects ranging from kW-scale rooftop systems to MW-scale ground-mounted plants.
- Solar industry experience will be preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively across project locations is mandatory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
