Position: Civil Tendering Engineer
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tender Engineer to manage the complete tendering process. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing technical and commercial bids, reviewing tender documents, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of competitive and compliant proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
Prepare technical and commercial bids in accordance with tender requirements.
Coordinate with the estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams to gather required inputs.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing proposals.
Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within the stipulated deadlines.
Maintain records of tenders, bid submissions, and related documentation.
Attend pre-bid meetings and clarify technical and commercial queries with clients.
Prepare compliance statements and technical documentation for bid submissions.
Monitor tender portals and identify new business opportunities.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical details.
Assist in contract review, negotiations, and post-award documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements throughout the tendering process.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of tendering procedures and bid management.
Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Good understanding of estimation, BOQs, and costing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with e-tendering portals and online bid submission.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional certification in estimation or tendering will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
Profile 3–8 years of experience in tender preparation and bid management.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, MEP, manufacturing, EPC, or engineering companies is preferred.
Ability to independently handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
