Job Summary
Shetron LTD is looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function at our manufacturing plant in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing HR and hands-on experience in managing Industrial Relations (IR), Labour Laws, statutory compliance, contract labour, and employee relations. The candidate must be based in Bangalore or willing to work from our Bangalore plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing plant.
- Lead recruitment and manpower planning for staff, engineers, supervisors, and workmen.
- Handle Industrial Relations (IR), employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary matters.
- Liaise with labour unions and ensure cordial industrial relations while addressing workforce concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, including PF, ESIC, Factory Act, CLRA, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities, labour inspectors, and statutory bodies during inspections and audits.
- Oversee attendance management, payroll coordination, leave administration, and employee records.
- Manage contract labour compliance, contractor documentation, and workforce deployment.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Handle onboarding, confirmations, transfers, separations, exit formalities, and full & final settlements.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare HR MIS reports and provide regular updates to management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations and Labour Laws.
- Experience handling labour unions and workforce negotiations.
- Sound understanding of statutory compliance for manufacturing industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience managing large blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 6–10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing plant is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in Industrial Relations, labour compliance, union handling, and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing contract labour and factory HR operations.
- Candidates currently residing in Bangalore will be given preference.
- Experience in the packaging or industrial manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
