About Us
Gantare Digital LLP is a digital agency based in India, and we work under the brand name Candid Digital. We build and manage WordPress and WooCommerce websites for ecommerce and local service brands, and we also handle their search engine optimisation and content. Our team works remotely and we keep a written process document for every job we do.
About the Role
You will run our daily WordPress work and make sure it actually gets finished. About half the job is supervision: tracking the task list, reviewing what the developers and interns deliver, chasing whatever is holding a project up, and doing the final quality check before anything reaches a client.
The other half is hands on. You will build the difficult parts yourself, so you need real technical depth. When anyone asks whether something is possible on a WordPress site and how it should be built, you are the person who answers.
What You Will Do
- You will own the daily task list in Notion, assign the work, set deadlines and push every task through to done.
- You will review what the developers and interns deliver, checking the design match, the mobile view, plugin updates and whether forms actually send email.
- You will do the final quality check before anything goes to a client, so nothing broken ever leaves us.
- You will follow up without letting anything drift, chasing clients for content and images and unblocking developers who are stuck.
- You will keep the search team's website work moving, covering on page changes, structured data, Google Search Console and page speed fixes.
- You will decide how each feature should be built, whether that is Advanced Custom Fields, custom post types, a plugin or custom code, and you will build the difficult parts yourself.
- You will improve website speed using caching tools such as Redis, LiteSpeed or WP Rocket, and handle hosting, cPanel, staging sites, migrations, Cloudflare, domain records and security certificates.
- You will fix the problems others cannot, write small automations that remove repeat work, and keep our written processes updated.
What You Need
- WordPress is mandatory. We cannot consider anyone without hands on WordPress experience.
- At least 2 years of hands on WordPress work. Agency experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in Advanced Custom Fields, including field groups, repeaters, flexible content and options pages.
- You can write PHP, and you know MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You write code, you do not only install plugins.
- You are comfortable with custom post types, taxonomies, WordPress queries, hooks and child themes, and you can work in Elementor at a professional level.
- You can set up WooCommerce, covering products, variations, tax, shipping and payment gateways.
- You have used caching tools such as Redis, LiteSpeed or WP Rocket, and you can work in cPanel and phpMyAdmin, run migrations and backups, and manage Cloudflare, domain records and security certificates.
- Enough search engine optimisation knowledge to check the team's work.
- You take ownership, you are strict about deadlines, and you chase people until the work is done. If you do not know a tool, you work it out and then guide the team on it.
- Good English for writing tasks and process documents. Hindi is useful for team calls.

- Experience with Shopify.
- Experience with Git.
- Some Python or Node for small scripts.
- Experience building custom plugins.
- Experience with SE Ranking or similar tools.
- Experience guiding a small remote team.
Work Setup
- The pay is ₹25,000 per month.
- The role is fully work from home, from anywhere in India.
- Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST, with the 2nd and 4th Saturday off.
