As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software components, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning processes and discrete manufacturing workflows.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules to align with business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless communication between SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within the production planning domain.
