Position: Solar Engineer
Industry: Solar / Electrical / Construction
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 1 to 8 Years
Qualification: Diploma in EEE / BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Languages Required: & Kannada, Hindi, English & Tamil
Preference: Candidates with strong O&M (Operation & Maintenance) experience will be highly preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems.
- Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities for solar plants.
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Ensure safety standards and quality procedures are followed at site.
- Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Monitor inverter performance, panels, transformers, and electrical systems.
- Support breakdown maintenance and ensure minimum downtime of the solar plant.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of solar power systems and electrical components.
- Experience in Solar O&M activities is mandatory/preferred.
- Understanding of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and system-related issues.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel/work at project sites if required.
