Position Summary
To lead and coordinate shift operations and direct production staff to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time manufacturing that meets all quality and specification requirements, while driving team performance, compliance, continuous improvement and manager employees in shift operations
Responsibilities
- Allocate manpower, tasks, and resources; manage shift handovers and daily work plans.
- Lead, brief, and coordinate the shift team to meet production targets and priorities.

Monitor production output, cycle times, and downtime; take action to resolve issues quickly.

Ensure products meet quality standards/specifications; perform checks and support corrective actions.

Enforce Health & Safety rules (PPE, risk controls, permits/LOTO as applicable); report and investigate incidents/near misses.

Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and company policies; maintain discipline and good housekeeping (5S).

Coach, train, and support operators; address performance, attendance, and conduct concerns.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning to ensure smooth operations and material availability.

Complete shift documentation and production reports (output, scrap, downtime, staffing); escalate risks and constraints.

Drive continuous improvement activities (waste reduction, efficiency, standard work) and support audits.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Minimum 4 to 5 years in the Production

Good knowledge on PPC tools and Production tools.

Internal audits, IATF16949, SPC, TPM, 5S

Good knowledge on 7 QC tools and 8D methodology is a must
-
Able to communicate and motivate coherently – both verbally and via written media

Understands the principles of manufacturing, and has strong man management skills

Strong leadership planning and organizational skills essential
