About Vandanam Trust
Vandanam Trust is a non-profit organization working to build long-term societal impact through research, education, environment, social justice, media literacy, and skill development. We are building the organization from the ground up with a strong focus on credibility, governance, transparency, and institutional excellence.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Company Secretary (CS) who is passionate about institution building and wants to contribute beyond compliance. This role will work directly with the Founder and senior leadership team to establish the governance, legal, and compliance framework that makes Vandanam a credible and trusted organization.
This is an opportunity to shape the foundation of an organization in its early stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Build governance and compliance systems from scratch.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for the Trust.
- Draft and maintain policies, resolutions, minutes, and governance records.
- Support legal documentation, agreements, and institutional processes.
- Advise leadership on governance best practices and regulatory matters.
- Create systems that strengthen transparency, accountability, and organizational credibility.
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) or CS Professional.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and legal documentation.
- Ability to build processes, not just maintain them.
- Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
- Passion for contributing to a purpose-driven non-profit.
What You'll Gain
- Opportunity to build the governance framework of a growing institution.
- Direct collaboration with the Founder and senior leadership.
- Meaningful ownership and strategic exposure.
- Professional recognition for creating long-term institutional impact.
- Certificate and Letter of Recommendation based on contribution.
Ideal Mindset
We are not looking for someone to simply complete compliance tasks.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build an institution that will stand on a strong foundation of governance, credibility, transparency, and trust.
If building institutions excites you more than maintaining them, we'd love to hear from you.
