Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to support quality control and testing activities in our corrugated box manufacturing facility. The candidate will assist in conducting physical and performance tests on raw materials and finished products, maintain laboratory records, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests on paper, board, adhesives, and finished corrugated boxes.
- Conduct quality checks including Burst Strength (BS), Edge Crush Test (ECT), Ring Crush Test (RCT), Cobb Test, GSM testing, and other relevant packaging tests.
- Record and maintain test results, reports, and quality documentation accurately.
- Assist in calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of laboratory equipment.
- Collect samples from production lines and warehouses for testing.
- Support Quality Assurance and Production teams in investigating quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and testing procedures.
- Maintain laboratory inventory of consumables and testing materials.
- Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards within the laboratory.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Packaging Technology, Paper Technology, or related field.(Fresher may apply.)
- 0–3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably in corrugated packaging, paper, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of packaging material testing methods will be an advantage.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, data entry).
- Good analytical, observation, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with corrugated box testing equipment.
- Understanding of ISO quality systems and manufacturing quality standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
