About Desse
Désse (pronounced dess) Collective is a new demi-fine jewelry brand headquartered in Bengaluru. We make stackable, anti-tarnish 18k gold pieces for women who dress with intention; positioned between fast fashion and fine jewelry, and building fast.
We're a founder-led brand at day one. That means whoever joins now gets to build something, not just execute someone else's vision. Your fingerprints will be on how this brand grows.
What you'll actually do
You'll work directly with the founder on content strategy, Instagram growth, and PR outreach. Concretely: planning and scheduling posts, writing captions in the Desse brand voice, identifying and reaching out to micro-influencers for collaborations, tracking what's working, and helping build the waitlist and launch momentum.
This is not a "make coffee and watch" internship. You'll have real ownership from week one.
Who we're looking for
You've spent time in the jewelry, fashion, or accessories space - either working for a brand, running your own small resale, or just obsessively following the industry. You understand what makes a piece look premium on camera. You have a strong Instagram eye and you know the difference between content that gets saves and content that gets scrolled past.
You write well. You're proactive. You notice things.
Experience with Reels, trending audio, and Instagram SEO (keywords, not just hashtags) is a big plus. Canva, Later, or similar scheduling tools - helpful but not required.
What this role is
This is an internship to start, with a clear path to a paid part-time role for the right person as the brand grows. We're transparent about that upfront. What you do get: direct mentorship from the founder, a portfolio of real brand-building work, attribution for what you create, and early equity in the story of a brand that's serious about scaling nationally and eventually into the US, UK and Australia markets.
