Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Freight Brokerage Manager to manage US domestic freight operations, including carrier procurement, load booking, rate negotiation, shipment tracking, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end US freight brokerage operations.
- Source and negotiate with carriers for FTL/LTL shipments.
- Manage loads using DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
- Negotiate customer and carrier rates while maintaining healthy margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and 3PLs.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, breakdowns, and delivery issues.
- Manage rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, invoices, and accessorial charges.
- Monitor carrier performance, compliance, and service levels.
- Analyze freight market rates, lanes, and capacity.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, load volume, and gross margin.
- Lead and support brokerage operations/team performance.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in US freight brokerage / 3PL / transportation.
- Strong knowledge of US trucking and freight lanes.
- Experience with FTL, LTL, dry van, reefer, and flatbed.
- Strong carrier sourcing and rate negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of freight margins and market pricing.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
