Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head is responsible for leading and managing all maintenance functions within a heavy industrial environment, ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and maintain critical utilities and equipment, including DG sets, 33 kV / 3500 kVA transformers, L&T breakers, VCBs, compressors, cooling towers, UPS systems, and plant machinery integrated with PLC, HMI, and drive controls.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and stabilization of production and facility equipment, ensuring optimization of process parameters for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Achieve and sustain 90% machine uptime through effective preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, while tracking and analyzing OEE, MTTR, and MTBF in line with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Plan and manage procurement of maintenance spares and consumables, develop critical spares inventory, and implement cost-effective strategies to reduce downtime and breakdowns.
- Prepare, maintain, and control ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 documentation, participate in internal and external audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with quality management systems.
- Drive 5S implementation, housekeeping standards, and shop-floor discipline within the maintenance function to promote safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to implement pollution prevention strategies and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage the control and safe disposal of hazardous materials used in the manufacturing process.
Desired Candidate Profile
✔ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field.
✔ 10-12 years of experience in maintenance management (preferably manufacturing)
✔ Strong technical expertise in PLC, HIM and Drive controls.
✔ Proven knowledge of ISO standards and quality tools
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving & stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
