Role overview
We are looking for a creative, confident, and camera-friendly individual who can produce engaging Tamil-language video content across social media platforms and digital channels. You will be responsible for ideating, scripting, presenting, and publishing content that resonates with a Tamil-speaking audience.
Key responsibilities
Script & content writing
Write clear, engaging scripts and storyboards in Tamil for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and short-form videos.
On-camera presenting
Present videos confidently and fluently in Tamil, maintaining energy, clarity, and audience connection.
Filming & basic editing
Shoot and edit videos using mobile/camera setups; work with editors to produce polished final cuts.
Performance & growth
Monitor video analytics, optimize content strategy based on views and engagement, and grow subscriber/follower base.
Social media management
Publish and promote content on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter); respond to audience comments.
Required skills
Fluent spoken and written Tamil Comfortable on camera with strong screen presence Basic video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) Storytelling and audience engagement Knowledge of YouTube/Instagram SEO and trends Self-motivated with consistent content output
Qualifications
Any degree (Journalism, Mass Communication preferred)1–3 years in content creation or media (freshers with strong portfolio welcome)Active portfolio of Tamil video content (YouTube/Instagram channel)Understanding of Tamil culture, trends & audience preferences Bonus: Basic Tamil typing and knowledge of Tamil Nadu news/entertainment landscape Nice to haveTamil Dubbing / Voice-over Tamil–English AI content tools (Canva AI, ElevenLabs)Thumbnail design Event or field reporting
