About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager – Consumer Order Management to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of product capabilities that power a global digital commerce platform. This role is responsible for enabling seamless consumer experiences across digital channels, fulfilment networks, and post-purchase journeys.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, solution architects, and program leaders to define and deliver scalable product solutions that create measurable business and customer value. You will own product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and execution across a portfolio of order management capabilities, leveraging modern cloud-native architectures and microservices to drive platform scalability, reliability, and innovation.
The Consumer Order Management domain plays a critical role in orchestrating the end-to-end order lifecycle—from order creation and routing through fulfilment, financial reconciliation, and returns—making it a key component of a large-scale direct-to-consumer digital commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with the organization's digital commerce and marketplace strategy.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that balance business value, customer impact, operational efficiency, and technical health.
- Translate complex business needs into clear product outcomes and measurable success metrics.
- Drive prioritization decisions across multiple stakeholders and competing business objectives.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with global business partners across Digital Commerce, Operations, Fulfilment, Finance, Marketplace, Customer Service, and Technology teams.
- Facilitate alignment between business goals and engineering execution.
- Present product strategies, business cases, and roadmap updates to senior leadership.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure successful delivery of global initiatives.
Product Delivery
- Lead end-to-end product development from discovery and concept through delivery, launch, and adoption.
- Define user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout planning, development, testing, release, and post-launch optimization.
- Drive data-informed decision making through analytics, experimentation, and customer insights.
Technology & Architecture
- Work closely with software engineers and architects to develop scalable solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of:
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- API-driven ecosystems
- Event-driven architectures
- Distributed system design principles
- Partner with technical teams to make informed trade-offs between speed, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Reporting & Analytics
- Lead the development of reporting and operational insights capabilities for order management.
- Define key business and operational KPIs.
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver dashboards, reporting solutions, and actionable insights.
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for product enhancements, operational optimization, and business growth.
Global Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed business and engineering teams.
- Drive alignment across multiple regions, time zones, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Influence decision-making without direct authority while navigating complex organizational environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience within digital commerce, e-commerce, marketplace, order management, supply chain, fulfilment, or related domains.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional product initiatives from strategy through successful execution.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience partnering closely with software engineering teams delivering cloud-based products.
- Solid understanding of:
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- APIs and integration patterns
- Product analytics and reporting solutions
- Experience defining business metrics and using data to drive product decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, digital commerce, marketplace, or enterprise order management platforms.
- Familiarity with omnichannel customer experiences, including fulfilment, returns, order tracking, and post-purchase capabilities.
- Experience working within Agile product development environments.
- Understanding of enterprise-scale distributed systems supporting high transaction volumes.
- Experience collaborating with global business stakeholders and distributed engineering teams.
