Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to support State Government digital transformation programs built on the Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UX research, Figma, Salesforce Lightning, design systems, journey mapping, usability testing, and Agile delivery. You will work closely with government stakeholders, business teams, Salesforce architects, and development teams to create citizen-centric, accessible, and scalable digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design from research and user flows to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design intuitive and accessible digital experiences using Figma.
- Conduct UX workshops, design-thinking sessions, journey mapping, and stakeholder interviews using Miro.
- Conduct usability testing using Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, or similar tools.
- Translate complex government processes and workflows into simple, user-friendly experiences.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure designs are technically feasible.
- Create and maintain design systems, reusable components, and UI patterns.
- Present design concepts, user journeys, prototypes, and design rationale to stakeholders.
- Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback into iterative design improvements.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, using Jira for sprint planning and delivery tracking.
- Use Confluence for UX documentation, design decisions, workflows, and specifications.
- Ensure digital solutions meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and government accessibility requirements.
- Work effectively with business, technology, and government stakeholders in complex environments.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of UI/UX Design experience for enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma – Mandatory.
- Experience designing Salesforce-based applications; Salesforce Lightning experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UX research, journey mapping, personas, and service design.
- Experience with Miro for workshops and journey mapping.
- Hands-on experience with Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, or similar usability testing tools.
- Strong experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to simplify complex business processes and create intuitive user experiences.

- Experience with State Government / Public Sector digital transformation programs.

- Experience with large-scale Salesforce CRM implementations.
- Strong citizen journey mapping and service design experience.
- Experience with large-scale design systems and component-based UI architecture.

- Experience working with distributed Agile teams.
- Consulting or professional services experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
