About the Role
Patrika is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals to strengthen its circulation network and expand institutional readership across Madhya Pradesh.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in newspaper circulation, distribution channel management, agent development, and institutional sales. The role requires a hands-on professional who can recruit and develop new distribution partners while simultaneously driving bulk subscription and B2B sales opportunities to increase readership, circulation revenue, and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
Distribution Network Development
-Develop, expand, and strengthen the newspaper distribution network across assigned territories.
-Identify, recruit, appoint, and manage new agents, distributors, vendors, and hawkers.
-Ensure effective market coverage and last-mile newspaper availability.
-Increase circulation through network expansion in urban, semi-urban, and emerging growth areas.
-Monitor distributor performance, sales productivity, returns, and market coverage.
-Build sustainable relationships with channel partners and key market influencers.
-Conduct regular market visits to identify circulation gaps and growth opportunities.
Circulation Growth & Market Expansion
-Drive copy growth through innovative circulation campaigns and reader acquisition programs.
-Execute promotional activities to improve readership and market share.
-Analyze circulation trends, competitor movements, and customer preferences.
-Identify new territories and underserved markets for expansion.
-Ensure timely execution of circulation strategies and business plans.
Institutional & B2B Business Development
-Develop the Institutional Sales vertical across the assigned city and surrounding regions.
-Generate bulk subscription business from:
-Educational Institutions : Schools & Colleges + Universities + Coaching Institutes + Libraries + Government Departments + Corporates & Industrial Houses + Hotels & Hospitality Sector + Hospitals & Healthcare Institutions + Banks & Financial Institutions
- Create customized circulation and subscription solutions for institutional clients.
-Build long-term partnerships and annual subscription programs.
-Achieve institutional circulation and revenue targets.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
-Maintain strong relationships with agents, distributors, vendors, hawkers, and institutional customers.
-Coordinate with editorial, marketing, events, and advertising teams for market activation initiatives.
Resolve market issues proactively and ensure high service standards.
Reporting & Analytics
-Track circulation growth, institutional sales, agent productivity, and market performance.
-Prepare regular market intelligence and competitor analysis reports.
-Ensure achievement of circulation, subscription, and revenue targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Mandatory Experience
- Minimum 3–10 years of experience in Newspaper / Print Media Industry.
- Proven experience in Circulation, Distribution Management, Subscription Sales, or Institutional Sales.
- Hands-on experience in agent recruitment and distribution network development.
- Experience in managing distributors, vendors, and hawker networks.
Preferred Experience
- Candidates who have successfully:
- Developed circulation networks from the ground up.
- Recruited and activated new agents and distributors.
- Increased newspaper copies and readership in competitive markets.
- Built and managed institutional subscription programs.
- Generated B2B and bulk subscription revenue.

Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
MBA / PGDM (Marketing or Sales) will be preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
