Job Description
Rapid HVAC Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Civil Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in India. The role involves civil design, coordination, and execution support for steel factory construction projects and residential building developments. The ideal candidate will work closely with HVAC, structural, and project teams to ensure efficient and compliant civil designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil design drawings for industrial steel factory projects and residential buildings
- Develop site layouts, grading plans, foundations, RCC drawings, and infrastructure designs
- Coordinate with HVAC, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams for integrated project execution
- Ensure designs comply with Indian standards, local building codes, and safety regulations
- Support project planning, BOQ preparation, and material specifications
- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and resolve construction-related issues
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients during project execution
- Assist in design optimization for cost-effectiveness and constructability
- Review contractor drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in civil design and execution for:
- Steel factory / industrial projects
- Residential buildings (villas, apartments, housing projects)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of STAAD, ETABS, or Revit is an advantage
- Strong understanding of RCC design, foundations, and industrial civil works
- Familiarity with Indian building codes (IS codes)
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within project timelines
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on projects integrated with HVAC systems
- Exposure to fast‑track industrial construction sites
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ preparation
