We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and executing complex financial reconciliations.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the leadership capability to mentor junior staff while collaborating closely with executive leadership to drive financial accuracy and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the general ledger structure, review journal entries, and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP/IFRS principles.
- Reconciliations & Analysis: Perform complex bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations. Analyze financial variances and budget-to-actual deviations to provide actionable insights to management.
- Compliance & Tax Reporting: Assist with local, state, and federal tax compliance, including corporate filings, GST/VAT (if applicable), and payroll taxes. Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory policies.
- Audit Facilitation: Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors. Prepare audit schedules, gather documentation, and ensure a seamless annual audit process.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing accounting workflows and systems to implement automation, streamline operations, and strengthen internal controls. Preparing Bills and Invoices.
- Team Leadership: Guide, review the work of, and mentor junior accountants and accounting clerks to foster professional development and team accuracy.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹45,338.67 per month
