About Position:
We are seeking a Security Architect to define, maintain, and govern security architecture across infrastructure, cloud, and product environments. The role is responsible for embedding securitybydesign principles throughout the technology landscape, ensuring that security policies, standards, and risk requirements are translated into scalable and practical architectural controls. You will work closely with Security Operations, IT, Cloud, Product Security, and GRC teams to design secure solutions that align with industry standards and organizational objectives.

What You'll Do:

Define and maintain security reference architectures, design patterns, and security standards across infrastructure, cloud, and product environments.

Design secure architectures for applications, platforms, integrations, APIs, and cloud services.

Ensure security-by-design principles are incorporated throughout the system development lifecycle.

Review new systems, applications, infrastructure changes, and technology initiatives to identify security risks and architectural gaps.

Conduct security architecture assessments and provide remediation recommendations.
-
Perform threat modeling and define appropriate security controls and mitigation strategies.
-
Translate security policies, standards, and frameworks into actionable technical security controls.
-
Define and govern controls related to identity and access management, network security, data protection, logging, monitoring, and encryption.
-
Design and assess cloud security architectures across Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid environments.
-
Review cloud platform configurations, IAM models, network segmentation, and cloud-native security controls.

Support secure design and implementation of DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native architectures.

Partner with Product Security and Engineering teams to establish secure design patterns and application security controls.

Provide guidance on secure SDLC practices, API security, authentication, authorization, and data protection strategies.

Collaborate with Security Operations teams to ensure monitoring, detection, and response requirements are embedded into architectural designs.

Support logging, observability, security monitoring, and detection use case development.

Participate in architecture review boards, governance forums, and security advisory activities.

Support internal and external audits by providing architecture documentation and security control evidence.

Drive continuous improvement of security standards, architecture frameworks, and organizational security capabilities.

Act as a trusted security advisor to business, technology, cloud, and product stakeholders.
Expertise You'll Bring:

6 to 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Security Engineering, or Security Architecture.

Strong experience designing secure architectures across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and enterprise platforms.
-
Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, privileged access management, and modern identity architectures.
-
Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, zero-trust principles, and secure enterprise architecture.
-
Experience designing and securing cloud environments across Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid infrastructures.
-
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, container security, Kubernetes security, and Infrastructure as Code security practices.
-
Expertise in security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
-
Hands-on experience conducting security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
-
Experience translating security requirements into practical, scalable, and business-aligned technical solutions.

Knowledge of data protection, encryption technologies, key management, and privacy-focused security design.

Experience supporting secure application development, API security, secure SDLC, and product security initiatives.

Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, threat detection, and security operations integration.

Experience working with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE, PASTA, or similar frameworks.

Familiarity with security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, PAM, CSPM, DLP, and vulnerability management platforms.

Experience supporting governance, compliance, audit, and risk management activities.

Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and communication skills.

Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience participating in enterprise architecture reviews and strategic technology initiatives.

Experience implementing Zero Trust security architectures.

Expertise in modern identity models and federation technologies.

Knowledge of DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, and shift-left security practices.

Experience with threat modeling and attack path analysis.

Familiarity with cloud security tooling, CSPM, CWPP, and security automation solutions.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent.
