Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant who can analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, and manage the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to testing and delivery. The role involves close coordination with technical teams, project managers, and business development teams to ensure high-quality, error-free deliverables and effective pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and project requirements and translate them into Odoo functional specifications.
- Propose suitable Odoo standard/custom solutions aligned with business needs.
- Manage the complete functional lifecycle from solution design to testing and user acceptance.
- Prepare functional documents such as BRD, FRD, workflows, and test cases.
- Coordinate with technical teams for development, customization, and integration activities.
- Ensure quality of deliverables and validate functionalities with minimal or zero defects.
- Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and post-implementation validation.
- Track project progress, follow up on tasks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders and team leads.
- Provide functional support during deployment and go-live phases.
- Assist the Business Development team during pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis, solution demos, effort estimation, and proposal inputs.
- Support end-user training and documentation where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong functional knowledge of Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, Manufacturing, POS,HR.
- Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design in Odoo.
- Understanding of Odoo configurations and standard workflows.
- Ability to work closely with developers and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in testing, UAT coordination, and quality assurance.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo Functional Certification (preferred).
- BCom or Accounting background is mandatory.
- Experience in pre-sales, client demos, and proposal preparation.
- Exposure to integrations with third-party systems (eCommerce, payment gateways, logistics, etc.).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum project methodologies.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar ERP functional role.
