Role Description As a Quality Control Engineer at xtrawrkx, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring quality control activities across automotive and manufacturing projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and involves regular interaction with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and client representatives. You will perform inspections, measurements, and tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with defined standards and specifications. Daily tasks include documenting nonconformities, conducting root cause analyses, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. You will help develop and maintain quality control plans, standard operating procedures, and checklists, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires preparing quality reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and supporting audits and client reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in inspection, testing, and defect analysis.
- Proficiency in Quality Management practices, including documentation, process standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and performing root cause analysis.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing industry standards and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, control plans, check sheets) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage priorities in a project-based environment, and adapt to client-specific requirements.
- Experience with basic data analysis tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to QMS software or ERP systems is an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,698.18 - ₹26,000.00 per month
