Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, servers, and IT-related services. The role includes troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining data security, and ensuring uninterrupted IT operations.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and monitor computers, servers, printers, biometric devices, and networking equipment.
- Ensure smooth functioning of LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
2. User Support & Help Desk
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents within defined timelines.
- Maintain records of support requests and resolutions.
3. System Administration
- Create and manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Perform software updates, patches, and antivirus management.
4. Data Security & Backup
- Ensure regular data backup and recovery processes.
- Monitor cybersecurity measures and protect organizational data.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient, employee, and organizational information.
5. Hospital Information Systems Support (For Hospitals)
- Support Hospital Information System (HIS), EMR/EHR, PACS, and other healthcare applications.
- Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of registration, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and clinical systems.
6. Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
- Track allocation, movement, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation of IT assets.
7. Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with external vendors for AMC services, hardware procurement, and software support.
- Follow up on service requests and warranty claims.
8. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain IT policies, procedures, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare periodic IT reports and system performance summaries.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- System uptime and availability.
- Resolution time for IT issues.
- Data backup success rate.
- Network performance and security compliance.
- User satisfaction with IT support.
- Asset management accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
- Experience in healthcare/hospital IT systems is preferred.
Skills Required

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹10,636.85 - ₹25,000.00 per month
