Job Summary
Experience with cloud governance, tagging standards, policy-driven controls, and cost optimization. • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or enterprise monitoring platforms. • Experience with post-provisioning automation, configuration management, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and operational handover. • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity, access control, encryption, secrets management, and network segmentation. • Experience working in enterprise managed services, transformation, or cloud operations environments. • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred. Key Responsibilities
Lead assessment, planning, design, and execution of on-premises to Azure migration and cloud transformation initiatives. • Design and support migration strategies for VMware-based workloads using Azure VMware Solution, Azure-native services, and appropriate migration tooling. • Create and review High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs for Azure compute, storage, networking, security, and migration architectures. • Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with enterprise standards, including subscriptions, management groups, policies, identity, networking, security, monitoring, and governance. • Architect and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, load balancers, VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, and VNet peering. • Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure provisioning and configuration. • Implement infrastructure deployment automation using Azure DevOps pipelines, Git-based workflows, CI/CD practices, and approval-based deployment models. • Support infrastructure modernization by automating provisioning, configuration, governance enforcement, and operational tasks.
Skill Requirements
Strong experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure. • Hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution or VMware-to-Azure migration scenarios. • Strong understanding of VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX. • Experience with Azure migration and modernization using tools such as Azure Migrate, VMware migration tools, or equivalent enterprise migration approaches. • Strong Azure infrastructure knowledge across compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, and governance. • Deep understanding of Azure networking and hybrid connectivity, including VPN, ExpressRoute, hub-spoke architecture, DNS, routing, firewall, and private connectivity. • Experience designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones for enterprise environments. • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, branching strategies, pipeline approvals, and automated deployments. • Good understanding of automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, or scripting frameworks.
