Role description
Strong hands-on experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, and Multimedia on Ubuntu/Yocto OS, and custom Linux/Android environments.
- Proficiency in I/O drivers: I2C, UART, GPIO, SPI, SMBus.
- Familiarity with Ethernet protocols, Automotive feature validation, and x86 architecture.
- Experience in test development, triage workflows, and debugging.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate graphics drivers across Multimedia, Graphics APIs, Power Management, I/O, and Ethernet on Linux/Yocto.
- Execute and refine test plans based on program milestones.
- Design and maintain comprehensive test cases ensuring functional and non-functional coverage.
- Perform memory leak, stress, and soak testing using bounding box methodologies.
- Collaborate with development teams on defect lifecycle, providing clear and actionable bug reports.
- Work with automation teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Validate automotive-specific features and Ethernet interfaces.
- Debug issues using Python or Shell scripting.
- Automate manual test cases using Shell/Python.
