The Role
We’re looking for a Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into something people accidentally watch till the end.
Not just clean cuts we’re talking rhythm, taste, timing, and that invisible instinct that makes someone not skip.
You’ll be working on Instagram, Reels, ads, and brand stories. It’s fast, it’s chaotic (in a good way), and boring edits simply don’t survive here.
What You’ll Do
- Cut short-form content so tight it has trust issues
- Turn “we shot something” into “wait… this is actually good”
- Add motion graphics and text that add value, not noise
- Sync visuals to music like you secretly produce beats
- Work with the team to bring ideas to life (yes, you’re allowed to think)
- Edit for the algorithm… without selling your soul to it
- Handle multiple projects without having a breakdown (or at least hide it well)
- Bring ideas, opinions, and the occasional “this could be way better”
What You Should Know
- Your way around Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci (no YouTube-tutorial-level stuff)
- Basic After Effects or motion skills (enough to flex, not just survive)
- Timing, pacing, storytelling the holy trinity
- What works on social… and what should never be posted again
- How to work fast without it looking like you rushed it
Bonus Points
- You’ve edited brand content or ads that didn’t flop
- You understand hooks, retention, and why people scroll like their life depends on it
- You can color grade and make audio not sound like it was recorded in a cave
- You’re slightly obsessed with making things better than what was asked
