Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the Die Casting Process:
o Supervise the entire die casting production line, ensuring that parts are produced
according to specifications and deadlines.
o Monitor the machine's performance (e.g., die-casting presses, furnaces, etc.) and
ensure they are operating at peak efficiency.
o Troubleshoot issues related to equipment and processes, ensuring minimal
downtime and delays.
2. Personnel Management:
o Supervise and coordinate the work of machine operators, technicians, and other
production staff.
o Train new employees on die-casting processes, safety procedures, and best
practices.
o Monitor and assess employee performance, offering guidance and support as
needed.
o Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including the proper use of
personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. Quality Control:
o Ensure that all produced parts meet quality standards and specifications,
conducting visual inspections and using measuring tools.
o Work closely with the quality control team to resolve any issues related to product
defects or dimensional problems.
o Implement corrective actions if defects are detected in the production process.
4. Production Scheduling:
o Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure that orders are completed
on time and that production targets are met.
o Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, staffing
levels, or equipment issues.
5. Inventory and Material Management:
o Ensure that the necessary raw materials (e.g., metal alloys, die-casting molds) are
available for the production process.
o Monitor inventory levels and ensure that materials are ordered in advance to
prevent shortages.
o Ensure the proper storage and handling of materials, maintaining the integrity of
raw materials and finished products.
