Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and monitor annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
- Develop project-wise and machine-wise manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure production activities are executed as per delivery commitments.
- Monitor work order progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Material Planning & Inventory Control
- Review and verify BOMs released by the Design Department.
- Generate material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores departments for timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
Capacity & Resource Planning
- Analyze manufacturing capacity and manpower availability.
- Plan machine loading and shop-floor activities.
- Optimize utilization of resources to improve productivity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance, Stores, and Service departments.
- Conduct regular production review meetings.
- Follow up on critical materials, outsourced jobs, and pending activities.
- Ensure smooth project flow from order receipt to machine dispatch.
Project Monitoring
- Track project milestones and delivery schedules.
- Prepare project progress reports and dashboards.
- Escalate delays and propose recovery plans.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
ERP & MIS Management
- Maintain PPC records and ERP data accuracy.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze production performance and planning effectiveness.
- Provide management with planning and delivery status updates.
Continuous Improvement
- Implement PPC best practices and process improvements.
- Reduce manufacturing lead times.
- Improve production efficiency and on-time delivery performance.
- Develop and standardize planning procedures and controls.
Qualification
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in Injectable, Vial, Ampoule, Liquid Filling, Packaging, and Processing Machinery Manufacturing preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
