Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden to manage and supervise students residing in the hostel. The role requires maintaining a safe, structured, and academically focused environment that supports students preparing for NEET and JEE.
The warden plays a crucial role in ensuring discipline, well-being, and daily routine adherence of students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Discipline & Routine Management
- Enforce daily schedule (wake-up time, study hours, meals, lights-off).
- Ensure students follow study routines sincerely.
- Maintain strict discipline within the hostel premises.
2. Student Welfare & Safety
- Act as the primary point of contact for student concerns.
- Monitor student health, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
- Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
3. Attendance & Monitoring
- Maintain daily attendance records (hostel + study hours).
- Track student movements (entry/exit register).
- Report irregularities to management immediately.
4. Coordination with Academic Team
- Communicate with faculty regarding student performance or issues.
- Help identify students who need additional support or monitoring.
5. Parent Communication
- Update parents when necessary regarding student behaviour or health.
- Handle emergency communication responsibly.
6. Hostel Operations Management
- Supervise cleanliness, food quality, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and security.
- Ensure hostel rules are strictly followed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience as a hostel warden / residential supervisor preferred
- Strong discipline and leadership qualities
- Ability to handle teenagers with patience and authority
- Good communication skills (Malayalam + basic English preferred)
- Physically present and available for hostel supervision (residential role)
