Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Transmission Line Design Engineer to support the design and engineering of overhead transmission lines for domestic and international projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and contribute to various aspects of transmission line design and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of HV/EHV transmission lines.
- Prepare route layouts, profile drawings, and tower spotting.
- Perform sag-tension, clearance, and other engineering calculations.
- Support tower and foundation design coordination.
- Prepare BOQs and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and IS standards.
- Participate in site visits, when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in transmission line design or a related field.
- Knowledge of PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLS-TOWER and GIS tools.
- Exposure to international projects.
