Role: Fashion Designer Intern
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing ethnic and western wear collections.
- Create fashion illustrations and technical sketches.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes.
- Coordinate with tailors and production teams during sampling.
- Help with fabric sourcing, trims, and accessories.
- Maintain design documentation and mood boards.
- Assist in styling, photoshoots, and social media content creation.
- Support day-to-day studio operations as required.
- Assist in designing ethnic and western wear collections.
- Create fashion illustrations and technical sketches.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes.
- Take client measurements and clearly describe requirements to the tailor master for accurate garment execution.
- Coordinate with tailors and production teams during sampling.
- Help with fabric sourcing, trims, and accessories.
- Maintain design documentation and mood boards.
- Assist in styling, photoshoots, and social media content creation.
- Support day-to-day studio operations as required.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design.
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and textiles.
- Proficiency in sketching (hand or digital).
- Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva is an added advantage.
Internship Duration: 3–6 months
