We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate should be capable of teaching English language and literature effectively while helping students improve their reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English language and literature according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, worksheets, assignments, and study materials.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, speaking activities, and classroom discussions.
- Improve students’ grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing skills.
- Encourage students to participate actively in class and develop communication confidence.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Check notebooks, homework, classwork, and examination copies regularly.
- Support weak students through extra guidance and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Complete syllabus on time and conduct revision before examinations.
- Participate in school meetings, academic activities, and institutional events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Basic computer knowledge and online teaching skills will be an added advantage.
