About the Role
2050 Healthcare is looking for an experienced Billing Manager to oversee and manage the complete billing and revenue cycle operations for its Rehabilitation Centres. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the hospital industry and possess strong expertise in patient billing, insurance/TPA claims, revenue reconciliation, and healthcare billing compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end hospital billing operations across Rehabilitation Centres.
- Ensure accurate and timely patient billing, invoicing, and collections.
- Handle cash, corporate, insurance, and TPA billing processes.
- Monitor claim submissions, denials, reimbursements, and payment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with Clinical, Operations, Finance, and Front Office teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Track outstanding receivables and implement effective collection strategies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on billing, collections, revenue, and ageing.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
- Identify billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to minimize revenue leakage.
- Develop and implement billing SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the billing team.
- Support month-end closing, internal audits, and financial reconciliation activities.
Eligibility CriteriaMandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Hospital Billing or Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
- Candidates must currently be working in or have prior experience with a Hospital or Multi-specialty Hospital.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a team handling or supervisory role.
