Role & Resposibilities
- Coordinate and execute airfreight imports shipments from China, Vietnam and other countries into USA accurately and on time in line with customer requirements
- Monitor shipments proactively, Track Shipments end to end and handle deviations, and ensure timely system updates including financial data in ZOHO system
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Sales, and internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
- VERY IMPORTANT, ENSURE SHIPMENTS COMPLIANCE LIKE CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS ARE CORRECTLY MENTIONED
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary
- Work closely with warehouse, customs, and external partners for smooth shipment execution
- Drive process improvements and support automation to enhance operational efficiency
- Optimize costs while maintaining service quality and profitability
- Process inbound and outbound shipment requests.
- Verify product details, quantities, carton counts, addresses, and shipping methods.
- Check courier labels before dispatch and ensure they are correctly placed.
- Ensure old, incorrect, or duplicate labels are removed.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents.
- Check packaging quality and request corrective action when protection is insufficient.
- Review warehouse photographs and shipment proof before dispatch.
- Verify high-value shipments, including quantities and serial numbers where required.
- Coordinate with warehouses, couriers, freight forwarders, and the Operations Team.
- Report incorrect labels, damaged packaging, missing cartons, or documentation issues immediately.
- Maintain shipment checklists, tracking updates, and error logs.
Qualifiication
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and experience in USA Air Freight Imports Process
- Strong coordination and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English (intermediate) and local language (fluent)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
