Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Executive to manage international trade operations for Silico Manganese and Ferro Alloys products. The candidate will be responsible for export documentation, shipment coordination, customs compliance, logistics management, and communication with international customers, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesExport Operations
- Handle complete export documentation for Ferro Alloys and Silico Manganese shipments.
- Prepare Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin (COO), Bill of Lading (BL), Shipping Bill, and other export documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and CHA.
- Arrange vessel bookings and monitor shipment schedules.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of export consignments.
Import Operations
- Manage import documentation including Bill of Entry, invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, and transporters.
- Monitor import shipment status and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and international trade regulations.
- Handle export incentives, EPCG, Advance Authorization, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of import-export transactions for audits and statutory compliance.
Customer & Logistics Coordination
- Communicate with international buyers, suppliers, and shipping agencies.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
- Resolve logistics, documentation, and customs-related issues.
Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports related to exports, imports, logistics costs, and shipment status.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation records.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Import-Export operations, preferably in Ferro Alloys, Steel, Mining, or Metals industry.
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and export documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and trade portals.
