Position: Site Engineer
Department: Site Execution / Projects
Reporting To: Senior Site Engineer / Project Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Site Engineer to independently manage assigned work fronts, ensuring quality execution, timely completion, effective coordination with contractors, proper resource utilization, and compliance with safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Execute assigned construction activities according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion.
- Resolve execution issues in coordination with senior engineers.
Quality Control
- Ensure work complies with approved quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and rectify deviations.
- Maintain quality documentation.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Ensure smooth workflow between different trades.
- Attend site meetings and provide execution updates.
Material & Resource Management
- Monitor material availability and utilization.
- Control wastage of materials and resources.
- Coordinate manpower deployment for daily activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of site safety procedures.
- Monitor PPE usage and statutory compliance.
- Maintain site cleanliness and housekeeping.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Maintain measurement books and work records.
- Update project progress documentation.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant site execution experience.
- Experience managing a work-front independently is preferred.
Skills Required
- Good understanding of construction drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of construction methods and quality standards.
- Contractor and vendor coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of statutory compliance and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
