Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Posting Executive to join our revenue cycle management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately posting payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely updates to financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post insurance and patient payments into the billing system accurately
- Reconcile payments with bank deposits and EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies or denials
- Process adjustments, write-offs, and refunds as required
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly posting reports
- Collaborate with AR (Accounts Receivable) and billing teams for issue resolution
- Handle zero-payment and partial-payment cases effectively
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in payment posting or medical billing (preferred)
- Knowledge of EOBs, ERA, and insurance payment processes
- Familiarity with billing software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in US healthcare RCM (Revenue Cycle Management)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Experience with clearinghouses and practice management systems
