Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop Project layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, grading plans, and utility drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches, design calculations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and overseas clients to understand drafting requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and client guidelines.
- Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and project records.
- Prepare as-built drawings.
- Deliver high-quality drawings within project deadlines.
- Support multiple outsourcing projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Certification or training in AutoCAD drafting preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in Civil AutoCAD drafting.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (3D knowledge is an advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or BIM software.
- Experience working on outsourced/international projects.
- Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial construction drawings.
- Good communication skills for client coordination.
Educational Background
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- AutoCAD Certification (Added Advantage)
