Job Summary
We are hiring a Node.js Developer with expertise in building and maintaining financial systems, specifically Loan Management Systems (LMS). You will build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs that power financial applications, payment workflows, and related services. You’ll collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, data teams, and security/compliance specialists to deliver reliable, secure, and compliant software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend logic for loan creation, approval, disbursement, collection, and closure.
- Build RESTful APIs to support frontend applications, field agent apps, and third-party integrations.
- Integrate with financial services such as credit bureaus, banking APIs and KYC services.
- Implement business logic for EMI schedules, interest calculations, penalties, and foreclosure scenarios.
- Handle field-level data, including location tagging, agent assignments, and visit logs.
- Develop robust audit trails and transaction logs for all loan activities.
- Ensure data consistency, transactional integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize services for performance, security, and reliability.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and NestJS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with payment gateways, API-based integrations, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with field agent workflows, visit logging, and geo-tagging.
- Working knowledge of authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, JWT, etc.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and basic DevOps pipelines.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering clean and secure code.
Working Hours and Days
10:00 AM- 06:30 PM
Monday to Friday - WFO
Saturday - WFH
