Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, ensuring compliance, managing budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and FMCG industry experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide monthly MIS reports to management.
- Control expenditure and ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking activities.
2. Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, expense management, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and other statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
3. Financial Controls & Policies
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
- Develop clear financial SOPs and ensure all departments follow them.
- Manage company assets, stock records, and financial documentation.
4. Strategic Planning & Support
- Analyse financial data and provide insights for business growth.
- Support management with financial modelling, cost analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Evaluate new projects, investment decisions, and business proposals.
5. Team Management
- Lead and supervise the finance & accounts team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and training for team members.
- Ensure accuracy, discipline, and timely output from the team.
Required QualificationsEducation
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CA (Preferred)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts
- Experience in managing financial operations in FMCG/Manufacturing companies preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and taxation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, and accounting software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
