Job Description:
We are looking for a creative, organized, and highly motivated Assistant Director to support our Director in planning, coordinating, and executing video, film, documentary, and corporate projects. The ideal candidate should have strong on-ground production experience, excellent coordination skills, and a passion for storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in pre-production, production, and post-production activities
- Coordinate with crew, artists, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth shoot execution
- Prepare and manage shooting schedules, call sheets, and shot breakdowns
- Supervise on-set activities to ensure timelines and creative vision are met
- Handle continuity, script supervision, and on-set documentation
- Support location management, permissions, and logistics
- Assist in post-production coordination when required
- Ensure discipline, safety, and professionalism on set
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Director or similar role in film, TV, OTT, documentaries, or corporate videos
- Strong understanding of production workflows
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during shoots
- Knowledge of scripts, shot division, and production paperwork is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, or Mass Communication
- Experience working on documentaries, branded content, or broadcast projects
- Passion for storytelling and visual content
