Key Responsibilities

Monitor solar power plant performance remotely on a daily basis through designated monitoring portals.

Ensure plant operations are carried out in line with preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown maintenance requirements, utility obligations, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) commitments.

Support O&M contractor teams in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.

Respond promptly to plant emergencies as per the established emergency response procedures.

Prepare and submit regular reports, including DGR, WGR, and MIS reports.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure proper plant maintenance by O&M contractors.

Drive initiatives to improve plant uptime and operational efficiency.

Support routine and preventive maintenance activities across plant systems and equipment.

Continuously monitor plant performance and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred).

Minimum 4 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in the solar sector.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Excellent communication, coordination, and process management skills.

Understanding of contractual obligations related to plant operations and maintenance.

Capability to manage dynamic situations and work under pressure when required.

Willingness to travel to plant locations and corporate offices as needed.
-
Basic knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 55001:2014 standards.
Role-Specific Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the solar power plants within the assigned cluster.

Ensure vendor site personnel are adequately trained for safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Conduct daily online monitoring of plant performance.

Review daily generation reports and string-level performance.
-
Coordinate weekly generation reviews with AM vendors and internal stakeholders.
-
Prepare monthly MIS reports and support JMR/AMR activities.
-
Execute any additional assignments delegated by the Regional Head - Asset Management.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, HSE requirements, and conduct regular safety inspections across all sites within the cluster.
