Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist with 3 years of experience to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and patient counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physician prescriptions and legal regulations.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates, and procurement.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per guidelines.
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
- Supervise pharmacy support staff and ensure smooth daily pharmacy operations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver high standards of customer service.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Pharmacy
- Valid Pharmacist Registration/License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
