Role description
As an L3 Engineer you will be the technical authority for our OpenShift platform You will design complex architectures HCP lead the migration strategy from legacy hypervisors to OpenShift Virtualization and build the Ansible automation framework that powers our infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design and implement Hosted Control Plane HCP architectures and customized Agentbased deployment workflows for scale
Modernization Lead the strategy for OpenShift Virtualization enabling the coexistence of containers and VMs on a single platform
Advanced Automation Develop complex Ansible Roles and Collections to automate the entire infrastructure lifecycle IaC
Escalation Serve as the final point of contact for deepdive troubleshooting involving SDN storage CSI and clusterwide performance tuning
Mentorship Define best practices for LinuxWindows integration and mentor L2 engineers in automation and container standards
Technical Requirements
Expertise 5 years in Infrastructure Engineering with expertlevel Red Hat OpenShift knowledge
Specialization Deep expertise in OpenShift Virtualization KubeVirt including networking Multus and storage OdfCeph for VMs
Automation Expert knowledge of Ansible developing playbooks roles and integration with CICD pipelines
Hypervisors Strong conceptual knowledge of VMware and HyperV to facilitate migration and integration
Certifications Required
Red Hat Certified Engineer RHCE
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization or equivalent advanced OpenShift certification
Highly Desirable Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
