Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited's Central QA - IMS, OE department as a key technical professional responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in stainless steel production within the mining and metals industry. This role involves supporting quality assurance processes, conducting detailed inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. The position demands a proactive approach to quality control, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold the company's commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished stainless steel products to ensure compliance with defined specifications and standards.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives within the Central QA department.
- Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement in production processes.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in the development and review of quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to quality management systems and facilitating timely resolution of audit findings.
- Monitor and ensure calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Support training programs for production and quality personnel to enhance awareness and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to quality assurance in the mining and metals sector.
